Cross Innovation Workshops

Bring new perspectives to a challenge that matters.

Cross innovation means bringing together methods, knowledge and perspectives from different sectors and disciplines to create new ways of approaching a challenge.

I design and facilitate workshops for companies, public organisations, NGOs and networks that want to explore a real question from new angles — for example developing a service, improving a customer or citizen experience, strengthening collaboration, building new partnerships or identifying new strategic opportunities.

The workshops combine structured innovation methods with creative and, where relevant, artistic approaches. The starting point is always your organisation, your participants and a real challenge you want to explore.

Which format should I choose?

Taster — 45 minutes
Choose this if you want to introduce cross innovation and give a group new perspectives and a shared language.

Lab — 3 hours
Choose this if you want participants to apply cross innovation to a real challenge and generate new possibilities together.

Deep Dive — full day
Choose this if you want to go further: explore, develop and prioritise ideas and identify practical next steps.

Cross Innovation Taster

45 minutes

A compact and engaging introduction to cross innovation, designed for conferences, leadership meetings, professional networks and kick-offs.

Using relevant examples and a short participatory exercise, I introduce the principles behind cross innovation and connect them to the interests and challenges of your audience.

Best suited for:
Groups that are curious about cross innovation but are not yet ready for a longer working session.

Participants leave with:
A shared understanding of cross innovation, examples of how it can be used and questions they can continue exploring afterwards.

Format: Online or in person.

Cross Innovation Lab

3 hours

A hands-on workshop where participants use cross-innovation methods to explore one concrete challenge or opportunity.

Rather than simply talking about creativity or collaboration, the group works across perspectives, roles and disciplines to examine the challenge differently, generate possibilities and identify promising directions.

Best suited for:
Teams, organisations or networks that already have a question they want to investigate and want new perspectives without committing to a full-day process.

Participants leave with:
A clearer understanding of the challenge, a set of new perspectives and possibilities, and a small number of directions worth taking further.

Format: In person.

Cross Innovation Deep Dive

Full day

The Deep Dive is for organisations that want to use cross innovation as a structured working process around an important strategic challenge.

A full day gives us time not only to open up the question and generate new perspectives, but also to develop promising ideas, test assumptions, make connections between them and decide what should happen next.

The workshop combines facilitated exploration, collaborative exercises, idea development and prioritisation. It is led by two facilitators and tailored to the organisation and the challenge.

Best suited for:
Strategic questions, complex collaboration challenges, new services or initiatives, cross-sector partnerships and areas where the organisation needs to move from an open question towards possible action.

Participants leave with:
A shared picture of the challenge, developed ideas or opportunities, priorities and concrete suggestions for next steps — for example a pilot, partnership, experiment or continued innovation process.

Format: In person.

What is included?

All three formats include preparation and follow-up.

Before the session, we have a briefing conversation to understand your organisation, participants and objectives and adapt the workshop accordingly.

Afterwards, you receive a concise follow-up with key observations, opportunities and suggested next steps appropriate to the format you have chosen.

Workshops are delivered in English and can be adapted for SMEs, larger companies, NGOs, municipalities, regions, public agencies and professional networks.

For in-person workshops, the client provides the venue and any catering required.
